A very good and rare example of a small side weapon called the badek from the central Sumatran regions. Handle is made of buffalo horn and deeply carved in the form of a parrot or kakaktua. Top of the sheath is also made buffallo, and is finely carved with pierced through works. Also having a buffalo horn bottom tip. Very sturdy blade with single sharp edge and must be cleaned
